Ordering & Freight
Ordering studio glass batch involves a few steps that help us match your order to the closest warehouse, minimize freight costs, and ensure safe delivery. This page explains exactly how the process works.
1. How Ordering Works
Step 1 — Configure Your Pallet
Choose your formula (700, or 725A) and select either a full pallet or half pallet.
Full pallets contain 1000kg (≈ 2200 lb) and half pallets contain 500kg (≈ 1100 lb).
Step 2 — Place Your Order Online (Payment Not Captured Yet)
At checkout, your payment method is authorized, but not yet charged.
This allows us to:
-
Confirm inventory at the appropriate warehouse
-
Assign the closest stocked location
-
Review freight details with you if necessary
You’ll receive an order confirmation immediately.
Step 3 — Warehouse Assignment
We stock batch at four regional warehouses to keep freight costs down:
-
Rochester, NY
-
Alexandria, Ontario
-
St. Louis, MO
-
Portland, OR
Your order is automatically matched to the closest warehouse that has stock, reducing both shipping time and LTL charges.
Step 4 — Choose Your Freight Option
We support local pickup and two shipping methods:
Option A — We Arrange LTL Freight
-
$50 handling fee for arranging the shipment
-
We'll quote, schedule, and coordinate the freight carrier
-
You’ll receive a confirmation email and delivery details
Option B — You Arrange Your Own Freight
-
FOB warehouse
-
We provide pallet details, pickup instructions, and dock hours
-
Your carrier picks up directly from our warehouse
-
If you prefer to use your own carrier or freight broker, please download our
Customer Freight Guide for pallet specifications, pickup requirements, and
carrier instructions.
Step 5 — Payment Capture & Final Order Confirmation
Once your warehouse is assigned and shipping method confirmed:
-
We capture payment
-
You receive a final order acceptance email
-
Your order moves into fulfillment
-
We notify you when your pallet ships or is ready for pickup
