The 700 Studio formula is our best option for all users. The 700 was designed with minimal off-gassing, composed primarily of CO2 and water. Fuming during charging and melting has been all but eliminated, reducing the visible and olfactory fuming while decreasing the commonly seen effects on furnace refractories. While some amount of ventilation is always recommended, this batch is successfully melted in both gas and electric furnaces.
